Lizzie Cho
Lizzie has a background in adult education and is a leader in the non-profit sector. Presently she is Director of Nova New Opportunities, a Notting Hill charity focused on adult education and job readiness. She is a trustee of three other charities.
Within her leadership roles, Lizzie focuses on developing the emotional competence and effectiveness of the individuals, teams and organisations whilst balancing the complex commercial realities of a commerce with the compassion and empathy of the purpose-driven environment.
Lizzie maintains a portfolio career, continuing in her long-standing leadership role within the non-profit sector, consulting on Corporate Social Responsibility issues for London-based companies such as Vodafone and Sky and designing and facilitating leadership and talent programmes. She has expanded her coaching practise to leaders in other organisations including the NHS and Leaders Quest.
Prior to her current work in London, Lizzie spent 15 years teaching English language to adults, living and working overseas in Italy, Turkey, South Korea and New Zealand. Lizzie gained an honours degree (Goldsmiths), CELTA (International House), PGCE (University of Wales), MA (UCL) and is currently undertaking an MSc in Psychology and Neuroscience with the IoPPN at Kings College, London.
